In Canada, there is no single nationwide minimum wage. Hourly rates vary by province and territory, and in 2025/2026 they generally range from around CAD $15.00 to over CAD $19.00 per hour
👉 Most of our employers usually offer more than minimum wage, and many hospitality roles also include tips or service charge sharing depending on the employer and province.
Plan for the following expenses:
Canadian Working Holiday Visa: approximately CAD $369.75, including the IEC participation fee, open work permit fee, and biometrics fee.
Proof of funds: you must show around CAD $2,500 to cover your initial expenses when arriving in Canada.
Travel insurance: mandatory for the full duration of your stay.
Round-trip transportation costs.
Enough money to cover food and personal expenses for at least your first month, until you receive your first salary.
A WHV gives you the opportunity to work and travel abroad for a set period — usually up to 12 months. It’s the perfect way to discover a new country while earning money to support your stay.
It depends on your age and nationality. Most WHV programs are open to people aged 18 to 30 (sometimes up to 35). See the list of eligible countries above or check the official government website for detailed requirements.
As an agency, we can’t apply for the visa on your behalf, but we’ll guide you through the process, help with documents, and provide support to make it all feel easier and less stressful.
Most WHV jobs are in hospitality, tourism, or agriculture. We help you find a job that fits your experience and language level, many positions even come with accommodation included.
We’ll make sure to secure your job placement first, and then you can apply for your visa. You should apply between 1 and 6 months before your planned departure the earlier, the better.
We have you covered!
If you change your mind within 14 days of your registration, if your Visa Application is rejected or if you don’t get a suitable position:
We will refund our agency fees.
Please note that we are not able to refund transport and travel costs. We advise you to only book your transport once your visa has been approved and you’ve received a job confirmation.
