FAQ

How do I register?

Before we can begin your placement process, you’ll need to complete the online booking on the program that interest you at roastjobs.com. This confirms your commitment and officially allows us to move forward with finding the right placement for you. Watch the Step-by-Step

If you’re using your phone, simply click the button at the bottom (footer) of the page, it will automatically scroll down to the “Proceed Booking” section. Then follow the steps until you reach the payment of the agency fee, and you’re all set.

When should I send my application?

You can submit your application anytime between 4 weeks and 6 months before your desired departure date. The earlier you apply the better, this gives us more time to find the right match for you and prepare your profile accordingly.

What is the fee for?

The agency fee covers our full support throughout your journey, this includes helping you find a job with accommodation, assisting with documents and travel preparation, and providing ongoing support during your entire stay abroad.

Importantly, the fee is 100% refundable if we’re unable to secure a placement by your preferred departure date.

We’re not a traditional recruitment agency. Roast Jobs is here to help you relocate abroad smoothly and have the best possible experience living and working abroad.

We also offer a free recruitment platform, where you can apply directly to any job listing that interests you by submitting your CV: 👉 Access our free Job Board here

Please note that this is a self-service tool. The Roast Jobs team is not involved in the recruitment process for the free platform, we simply provide access to help you find a job or internship on your own.

Do I need previous experience ?

No, previous experience is not required for us to find you a job. We can successfully place candidates who are new to the hospitality sector.

However, we do ask that you remain flexible with the type of position offered. Gaining a bit of experience before your departure, such as through a short-term role or volunteering—can be helpful to better understand the tasks and expectations in a hospitality job. But it’s absolutely not a requirement to join the program.

Do you guarantee employment and accommodation?

We guarantee both employment and accommodation for all our programs where accommodation is listed as included.

Accommodation is usually shared, but in some cases, you might have your own private room, it all depends on what the employer offers. Either way, we’ll make sure everything is arranged before your departure.

How much is the payment and how many hours will I work?

Salaries start from the national minimum wage and depend on the employer, position, and your experience. On average, you can expect to earn around €1,200 per month.

You’ll work about 40 hours per week, but it can go up to 48 hours depending on the employer’s needs.

Can I choose a specific city?

Please note that our placement process considers the country as a whole to ensure the feasibility of your project.

We work with a wide network of hotels and restaurants across the entire country, and placements are made based on overall availability to ensure the best match for each candidate.

Your application will be considered for opportunities in all regions of the selected country, depending on employer needs at the time of placement. While we are happy to note your location preference and will prioritise it whenever possible, we cannot guarantee placement in a specific city or area.

Regarding city requests specifically, please be aware that accommodation is not provided in large cities, which is why most placements are based in rural or countryside locations where employers are able to offer housing.

My three months in Ireland were the three most beautiful months of my life! There, I gained everything: I spoke English, found my happy place where I felt more alive than ever, and met Jeanne, my best friend today. Ireland, for me, was kindness, friendliness, dancing in pubs, musicians, bike rides, picnics by the sea, vast meadows, and work in a family-owned hotel. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better first experience abroad (it’s sometimes cliché, but I truly mean it)!

“I wholeheartedly recommend Roastjob. They offer a variety of programs abroad, including Ireland, Malta, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, and even in France. In less than a month, Inès found me an amazing placement right in the heart of Ireland. She is highly professional and always available to address any issues I may have encountered. Thanks to her, the procedures to obtain the PPS Number (Social Security Number) went smoothly and quickly. Furthermore, she provided valuable assistance in preparing for the interview with the Head of the Hotel. The landscapes and the people you can meet there are truly worth it. It’s incredibly satisfying to see your English improve every month. In short, all you have to do is prepare for your job interview and book your tickets. Easy, right? Trust them without hesitation; it’s a small investment that saves you headaches and time. Plus, it quickly pays off. Thank you so much, Roastjob, and thank you, Inès 😊🤗. We’ll likely meet again soon for another destination 😉☀️🌡⛱️🌊.”

Roast Job is a kind of magical.

I had the idea of going abroad in April, and Inès found me a job in just two weeks.

The fee paid relieves you of all the tedious job and housing searches.

Today, I am in Ireland, in a hotel near the beach, with a job I enjoy.

I can only recommend it! 😀

This is the second time I’ve used the Roast Jobs platform, and once again, I’ve had a counselor who listens to your expectations and responds perfectly to them. I’m pleasantly surprised, once more, by the job they’ve found for me, along with the accommodation. It’s all been incredibly positive. Upon arriving at the establishment, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, very understanding of the fact that I’m here to improve my English and that we might sometimes have a little difficulty understanding each other. As I mentioned, it’s all been nothing but positive, and believe me, you can trust Roast Jobs with your eyes closed. Thanks again to Inès, who is truly excellent 👌👍 It’s been a unique experience.

JI had always wanted to go abroad to improve my English and explore another culture, but with my limited English proficiency, it seemed challenging to find work and accommodation on my own. I placed my trust in Roast Jobs, and Inès quickly secured me a job at a hotel in Galway where I’m also provided with accommodation. Inès guided me through all the paperwork, and she’s incredibly responsive. Working only 32 hours a week allows me to explore the region in my free time. This experience is fantastic! I wholeheartedly recommend it, 100%!
