n the Netherlands, as of January 1, 2025, the minimum hourly wage ranges from €13.68 to €14.06, depending on factors such as age and working hours.
Plan for the following expenses:
– Round-trip transportation costs.
– Sufficient funds to cover your on-site food expenses for the first month until you receive your initial salary.
By opting for our live-in positions in the Netherlands, you can keep your on-site expenses to a minimum. Your employer handles accommodation, insurance, taxes, and deductions directly from your salary, leaving you with only food expenses outside of your working hours and potential travel costs during your stay.
Before we can start your placement process, you’ll need to complete the online booking at roastjobs.com. This confirms your commitment and officially allows us to begin working on your placement.

You can submit your application anytime between 4 weeks and 6 months before your desired departure date. The earlier you apply the better, this gives us more time to find the right match for you and prepare your profile accordingly.
The agency fee covers our full support throughout your journey, this includes helping you find a job with accommodation, assisting with documents and travel preparation, and providing ongoing support during your entire stay abroad.
Importantly, the fee is 100% refundable if we’re unable to secure a placement by your preferred departure date.

Also, keep in mind that accommodation is usually not provided in large cities, which is why most placements take place in smaller towns or countryside locations—where housing can be offered by the employer.
