The À La Carte Program is a fully personalised option where you choose exactly where you want to go and how long you want to stay. We’ll tailor every detail to suit your travel and work goals. A minimum 6-month commitment is required for this program.

You name the destination, and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Job types: fixed-term contracts, permanent contracts, internship contracts
Duration: totally up to you! We do recommend a minimum of 8 months
Salary : Minimum legal Wage of the host country
Weekly working hours: 40 to 48 hours per week

Secure your job and give you all the support you need before you go. If your visa is denied, or if we can’t secure a suitable position by your desired departure date: We’ll refund the agency fees.

You have to be minimum 18 years old and be a European citizen or be allowed to reside in the country.

 

Please note that depending on the countries you want to travel to, you might have to apply for a Working Holiday Visa.

These hotels and restaurants can be found in rural, seaside, mountainous, or urban settings.

Frequently, the most budget-friendly housing options are shared apartments or houses. This arrangement will enable you to live with individuals who speak a different language than yours, facilitating a quick improvement in your language skills.

 

Assistance

Assistance throughout your experience

Your consultant will be available throughout your stay to answer your questions, assist you, and guide you as needed. Our goal is to make your move abroad smooth, secure, and well-organised, with support every step of the way.

Salary & Expenses

Regarding your salary, you will receive the legally mandated minimum wage set for the hospitality/restaurant sector in your chosen countries.

 

By choosing the À la Carte package, you’ll have the opportunity to select the location that best suits your financial preferences. We will gather information together on the salary, the price range for securing accommodation, taxes, and deductions made by the employer, as well as the cost of living in your preferred destination.

 

This approach enables you to select a destination that matches your budget and plan for:

– Round-trip transportation costs (which can vary significantly between different transport options and based on the destination and season).
– Sufficient funds to cover your food and accommodation expenses for the first month on-site until you receive your first salary. If the salary is not high, you may need to plan your budget accordingly for accommodation and additional expenses during your work placement.

What is the À La Carte Program?

The À La Carte Program is a fully personalised option where you choose exactly where you want to go and how long you want to stay. We tailor everything to fit your travel and work goals. A minimum commitment of 6 months is required for this program. 

What's the difference between Multi-Trip and À La Carte?

 

  • Multi-Trip: Travel to multiple destinations from our list, with a flexible but structured plan.

  • À La Carte: Create your own adventure anywhere you want, with a fully customized plan.

How do I register?

Before we can start your placement process, you’ll need to complete the online booking at roastjobs.com. This confirms your commitment and officially allows us to begin working on your placement.

If you’re using your phone, simply click the button at the bottom (footer) of the page, it will automatically scroll down to the “Proceed Booking” section. Then follow the steps until you reach the payment of the agency fee, and you’re all set.

When should I send my application?

You can submit your application anytime between 4 weeks and 6 months before your desired departure date. The earlier you apply the better, this gives us more time to find the right match for you and prepare your profile accordingly.

Do I need experience in the hotel and restaurant industry?

No, previous experience is not required for us to find you a job. We can successfully place candidates who are new to the hospitality sector.

However, we do ask that you remain flexible with the type of position offered. Gaining a bit of experience before your departure, such as through a short-term role or volunteering—can be helpful to better understand the tasks and expectations in a hospitality job. But it’s absolutely not a requirement to join the program.

Do you guarantee employment and accommodation?

We guarantee both employment and accommodation for all our programs where accommodation is listed as included.

Accommodation is usually shared, but in some cases, you might have your own private room, it all depends on what the employer offers. Either way, we’ll make sure everything is arranged before your departure.

Can I get a refund?

We have you covered!

If you change your mind within 14 days of your registration, if your Visa Application is rejected or if you don’t get a suitable position: 

We will refund our agency fees.

Please note that we are not able to refund transport and travel costs. We advise you to only book your transport once your visa has been approved and you’ve received a job confirmation.
